The room rate is on the basis of Bed & Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner, net of service charge, including all statutory levies. 50% deposit charged on booking to our hotel, the remainder is payable on check out alongside any extras such as food and beverage.
2. Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to the date of arrival: no fee.
Bookings cancelled between 29 and 8 days prior to the date of arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled within 7 days prior to the date of arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
No shows : 100% cancellation fee. All deposits with relating to bookings made at special rates, for the ‘super peak’ season (20 December to 15 January), or retreats are non-refundable.
3. Pets
Currently we do not accommodate your furry friend(s).
4. Belongings
The hotel cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items.
Please use the safety locker provided in your room for any valuable items. If we
find a "lost item", we will keep it safe for you and can will ship items back (at your
expense). Any lost items which are not claimed within 30 days, will be donated to
a local charity or discarded.
5. Pool
The hotel does not have a lifeguard. Guests swim at their own risk. Children
under 16 years of age must have an adult in the pool with them at all times.
Smoking, glasses or porcelain plates, or other breakables are not permitted in
the pool for health and safety reasons.
6. Vehicles
We have car parking spaces available at Good Wood Airport Hotel which you are
welcome to use during your stay or visit. Whilst we do our best to keep your
vehicle(s) safe, guests park their vehicles at their own risk. Therefore, when you
park in our car park, you accept the risk of theft or damage of or to your vehicle
and property in it.
7. Smoking
All our rooms are NON-SMOKING. We provide ashtrays on your porch for
outdoor smoking. If you decide to smoke inside, we will add a cleaning fee of
LKR 50,000 to your bill.
8. Liability
The hotel's liability shall be limited to wilful acts and gross negligence by its
employees or agents. Therefore, we do not accept responsibility for any death,
personal injury, damage or loss of personal belongings unless it is caused by any
fault of ours, meaning failure by us to use reasonable skill and care in performing
our duties.
Third Party Liability: The hotel does not accept any liability for services rendered
by third parties to our guests, notwithstanding that such services may be
arranged by us. Any claim, demand, charge, suit or damages which may be
incurred by the guests shall be made directly with such third parties and the hotel
shall render all reasonable assistance in this regard.
9. Early Check-in
Early arrivals will be on availability and needs to be informed at time of reservation.
Arrivals earlier than 12:00 Noon will be charged a 50% of the room rate and will only be
on availability.
Early arrivals ahead of 6:00 AM will be charged an extra night’s rate and will be
confirmed in advance if requested.
10. Late Departure
Late departure up to 2:30 PM will be on availability and needs to be informed at the time of
arrival.
Late departure up to 6:00 PM can be arranged at a 50% of the room rate and will only be
offered on availability.
Late departures beyond 6:00 PM will be charged as an extra night and will be confirmed
in advance.
11. Child Policy
Children between 0-5 years will be accommodated in the parents/adults room free of
charge.
Children between 5.1-11.99 years will be charged a child supplement.
The child supplement will be offered a maximum of one extra bed per room.
